Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of KindStock's software and services ("Service") provided by KindStock Ltd ("KindStock", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

KindStock provides point-of-sale and inventory management software for charity shops, available as a cloud-hosted service or as a hybrid cloud/local deployment.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• Prices are as displayed on our pricing page at the time of your agreement.
• Hardware included in your subscription remains the property of KindStock for the duration of the contract.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. We will not access your data except to provide the Service or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with other users, or using the Service for anything other than its intended purpose.

7. Service availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Hybrid deployments include offline capability to minimise disruption. We will give reasonable notice of planned maintenance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KindStock's liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable period to export your data. After that period, your data will be deleted.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
